Attract Your Dream Customers with Branding from the First Meet.

Attract dream clients implementing this.

Day after day, night after night.

Ads from business owners crowding the WhatsApp TV groups and eventually my phone. The majority of ads getting ignored each day and yet the business owners don’t seem to know what they’re doing wrong.

As a business owner, advertising a poor ad is a waste of money because the message isn’t well prepared and there’s no specific center of attention for the customer that is convincing enough for them to join your community.

I’ve seen business owners paying prospects(someone who can be a customer) to join their community. I understand they’re paying for the customers’ attention but it’s not relevant in today’s age.

A few moments after the payment, they sit and think “Why are they not joining?”

After seeing everything being done poorly for so long, I have come up with a perfect strategy as to how to get prospects to join your community(in this case WhatsApp groups).

I’ll be using retail business owners in Cameroon as an example to pinpoint the important things. Do keep in mind that this advertising method is done using WhatsApp.

Two major mistakes are losing you a lot of customers, which are:

- Poor Branding

- Your Introduction

Branding in this case refers to the visual and non-visual parts of branding.

I wrote an article about the difference between a business and a brand.

A brand is a perception that people have about your business or you.

A brand is also the identity and the emotional connection that a brand has with its customers.

A business on the hand, a business markets or produces products or services.

I’m trying to say that you lost the trust that your customers didn’t even have for you yet just by your branding and the way they perceived your business.

This brings us to the next main problem which is how you introduce yourself. If you have proper branding, it should take off some weight from this part of reaching your audience.

I see business owners start their introduction with an emoji

Yay

Although emojis are used to convey an emotion but please don’t start a headline with it.

Let’s talk about branding…

The days when branding was a nice-to-have are over.

Now branding is as important as cash flow. People buy based on emotion and the purpose of branding is to stir these emotions through perception.

I assume many emotions because it's not only an emotion that persuades a customer to buy but many.

If it were only one emotion, everyone would be rich by now.

Trying to build a business today without building a brand is like building a house without a foundation.

So what you should do is, learn about branding. Subscribe to this newsletter to take the first step in doing that.

Branding is a forever learning process, there are parts of it that you can control(brand).

Learn as much as you can about branding and apply it to your business and you’ll be able to convince anyone to buy from you.

Let’s dive into your intro.

This is the way you present yourself to your customers or audience. This is a strategic approach because you can’t afford to mess it up.

Everything is about perception. If you can make your customers see the need to buy and be loyal only to you for your product or service, master perception.

What you need to shape your prospect’s perception of viewing you as a professional and friendly business is,

- Good Branding

I know it’s crazy right? Branding doesn’t just end with emotions, it’s emotions and logic.

Meaning that it involves copy(talking about the texts that you present to your audience), design, emotion, and so on…

This example above is not so good at getting customers to join your community. Here’s what I would do if I were the person presenting to this audience.

“Delayed shipping? Not anymore!

Retailers are facing a common problem: delayed shipping for pre-orders. This can lead to customer dissatisfaction and lost sales. But there's a solution that's so unreal, you won't believe it.

We've figured out how to ship pre-orders on time, every time.

We work with reputable shipping companies, plan ahead, and communicate with customers. But that's not all. We also have a secret weapon: a tracking system that allows us to monitor the progress of our shipments and identify any potential delays.

So if you're a retailer who's tired of dealing with delayed shipping, click the link below and learn more about our solution.

You won't believe it until you see it.”

….

Notice that it starts with a catchy headline that highlights the main problem in the retail industry, specifically pre-order products.

Also, the ad is structured using a writing format called PAS(Problem, Agitate, solution). This means that you have to state the problem, and then amplify it so that your readers feel like they’re missing out on something big and only then, present a solution.

And you close with a dashing piece of design that shows them exactly what to do. At that very point in time, you have already gained the trust of your audience but the work doesn’t end there.

You have to continually, prove that your brand is better than the others and this will keep your customers coming back to you which is called brand loyalty.

And that’s how a proper introduction is born, with the perfect branding for you.

I have prepared a solution for you if your struggle with branding, and this is meant to improve your branding, attract quality clients, make your brand stand out, increase sales, improve customer loyalty, and help present your brand.

It’s called the Retail Profit Booster(RPB), click here to know more about it.
