Is Reading Books Worth It?
Why should you read books.

Is Reading Books Worth It?
Reading books has changed me in ways that I can’t imagine. I only wish that I could’ve started earlier.
Let’s go over how I started reading books so that you can get an overview of why I love them so much.
I started reading books in my early university days and the first book I read was “Rich Dad Poor Dad”.
That book kind of gave me an oversimplified view of life. There’s this video on YouTube called Happiness by Steve Cutts which exactly points out how life is for some people (Happiness).
When I had just downloaded the book, I had left it on my phone for a while until one day the teacher didn’t show up so I decided to pick up my phone and read that book.
I found myself so immersed in reading and understanding that the noise from the class didn’t matter anymore and from there I fell in love with reading books like that.
To this day, I still go back to Rich Dad Poor Dad to grasp some principles that I might have forgotten. As it said; If you want a new idea, read an old book. But it still stands that nothing is new but at least, refined.
So with that, you now know part of the reasons why I read books.
Why Should You Read Books?
The mindset I’ve noticed is the biggest part of a person that determines their life.
If you build a strong mindset while you’re still young, you’ll end up being successful provided that you put in the work.
“Knowledge isn’t power until it is applied,” said Dale Carnegie.
If you read and don’t apply, it is still considered useless knowledge.
Some people find that reading books can give them valuable insights and perspectives on different topics, which can enhance their understanding and knowledge.
Reading books can also expose people to different cultures, times, and ways of thinking, which can broaden their understanding of the world.
You’ve read this far, now go read a book. A book that will challenge your mindset, and your beliefs and give you experiences that you’ll find nowhere else.
Thanks for reading.
